Last night i decided to take my 67′ Imp for a tootle around the block trying to establish what the odd noise was coming from in the rear of my baby. With my son Brendan driving we managed to get a bit of a reaction out of it taking a left handed and adding a bit of power.
Encouraged that we were at least able to overcome its intermittant nature and so we carried on.
all of a sudden on our preordained left hander, “bang” the rubber dougnut cried “ENOUGH”! WE MANAGED TO LIMP BACK HOME AND PARK IT IN THE GARAGE WHICH WILL BECOME THE IMP HOSPITAL FOR THE DOUGNUT REPLACEMENT OPERATION SOON.
